Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned leader in Revenue Cycle Management to lead our RCM processes within the company. The role involves working closely with both internal executive teams and external customers to create and drive the quality requirements of Remitz’s revenue cycle management products and services, primarily targeting midsize to large healthcare provider organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically lead and oversee the entire revenue cycle management program.
- Engage with senior executives and leaders from various payers and providers, including industry leaders, in a client-facing capacity.
- Direct a quality assurance team to review and ensure compliance and accuracy in the output of automated revenue cycle management tools.
- Possess and apply a deep understanding of medical coding, denial management, market pricing for procedures, and negotiation processes for appropriate payouts.
- Serve as an internal leader, guiding teams to achieve operational excellence and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the revenue cycle, reduce denials, and improve overall financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in revenue cycle management, either on the payer or provider side.
- Extensive knowledge of medical coding and a deep understanding of denial management.
- Expertise in analyzing market pricing for medical procedures and negotiating payouts.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
