As a Software and Data Engineer at Remitz, you will play a crucial role in shaping the backbone of our data infrastructure. This position offers the unique opportunity to delve into various aspects of data engineering and software development within the healthcare technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Integration: Harnessing a variety of data sources to empower our systems.
- Data Warehouse Systems: Developing and maintaining robust data storage solutions.
- ETL Processes: Designing and constructing efficient data transformation and loading mechanisms.
- Data Modeling and Database Design: Architecting databases for optimal performance and scalability.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Turning data into actionable insights for decision-making.
- Data Security: Implementing stringent measures to ensure data integrity and privacy.
- Database System Tuning: Optimizing performance for seamless operations.
- Software Development: Contributing to the creation and improvement of our software products.
- Software Architecture Planning: Laying the groundwork for scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Code Review and Optimization: Ensuring code quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:
- English proficiency.
- Strong skills in Python.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed systems.
- Agile methodology familiarity.
- Experience with big data tech (Apache Spark preferred).
- Django familiarity is a plus.
- Cassandra DB knowledge (data modeling and query optimization) is a plus.
- Experience with Jira and other Atlassian platforms is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, IT, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields, with a focus on programming, data analysis, and/or database management preferred.
