In this crucial phase of our growth, we are looking for a Full Cycle Controller to oversee our accounting operations, ensuring the highest standards of financial accuracy and strategic decision-making. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire accounting cycle, ensuring financial statements comply with GAAP.
- Supervise accounting staff; manage day-to-day operations including banking, payroll, billing, and more.
- Prepare and coordinate internal and external financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Ensure compliance with all government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and reporting variances.
- Provide crucial financial information for management decision-making.
- Analyze business operations to project future revenues and expenses.
- Maintain robust internal controls, complying with GAAP and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a financial controller, accounting supervisor, or senior accountant role.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with financial statement creation, general ledger, and month/year-end processes.
- Proficient in accounting software and administration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Capable of managing multiple projects with precision and attention to detail.
Working Arrangement:
- This position starts off as fully remote, providing flexibility and convenience.
- Be prepared for a potential transition to a hybrid or in-office arrangement in the future, as per company needs. The office will likely be located in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
