Browser: Remitz Web Reporting Service has been designed and tested with Microsoft IE Browser 5.0 and above, using another browser may not render desired results.
Hints: Please take a moment to hover the mouse(mouseover) on items of interest on the sample report below to learn about their actions.
Reporting Services Screen Format: The tan area at the top of the sample report below is the parameters area. The lower portion is for rendered data.
Valid Demo Date Ranges: October 2004 (10/1/2004) thru June 2007 (6/29/2007).
Variable Parameters: The parameter area is indicated by the top tan area of the web page. The user interacts with Reporting Services by entering requested reporting variables or parameters and reports are generated based on the report parameters entered. After parameters have been input, press the View Report button in the upper right corner to refresh the report using the new parameter variables.
Default Date Ranges: Upon opening reports with date range parameters, the default date range is today's date. If test data does not fall within the default date range the following message "No results available. Please modify date range parameters" will be displayed indicating the date range parameters are invalid. Please enter Start and End Remit Dates that are within the Valid Date Ranges for the Demo.
Find|Next: After a report is rendered, a complete search of the report is available using the find|next option in the parameter area. This is a free-form input parameter that will search and point to matching data field(s) in the rendered report.
Report Sorting: Some reports may be sorted after the data is rendered. If a partictular column can be sorted a sort symbol will be displayed in the column heading.
Export: Use the export function to export the rendered report data into in selected format, ie. XML file with report data, CVS (comma delimited), TIFF file, Acrobat (PDF) file, Web Archive, Excel.
Links: Underlined items indicate links to additional reports.
Demo Response Time: Keep in mind that Remitz Reporting Services in a production environment would be running on your intranet(local) web server and response times will be more responsive. There may also be more than one or two demo users at the same time on the internet (www) which could affect response times. In a properly configured production environment, response times are exceptionally responsive SQL Server 2005 database files.
You are now ready to test drive the Remitz Web Reporting Services Demo. Please exit and continue with the Demo.
